Piano Shows Its Stripe: A New Direct Integration Makes Payments Easier for Piano Customers

Call it the start of a beautiful friendship. One that promises to make payments easier and more seamless for Piano customers using the Stripe internet payment platform.

Powering billions of transactions every year and supporting millions of clients globally, Stripe enables companies to bill customers on a recurring basis, set up a marketplace or simply accept payments for goods and services. Now, a new Piano/Stripe integration is making it easier for Piano customers using Stripe to accept new currency, better control any alterations to their payment structures and accept frictionless payment options like Apple Pay. With the direct integration, Piano customers won’t have to set up a new merchant account in Stripe, and Piano will be able to continually make updates to meet ongoing market demands.

This means clients will find it easier to keep up to date on changing regulations like the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and Europe’s Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) requirements (now in effect after the recent implementation of PSD2 regulations). Stripe Billing identifies which charges require SCA and triggers 3D Secure authentication when required. All of which enables you to meet the ever-changing needs of today’s digital landscape.

For current Piano clients, getting started is as simple as a quick call with their account manager to set up the integration. New clients will automatically get set up during implementation.
