Piano Ranked 274th Fastest-Growing Company in North America on the 2021 Deloitte Technology Fast 500™

Piano today announced it ranked No. 274 on the Deloitte Technology Fast 500™, a ranking of the 500 fastest-growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences, fintech and energy tech companies in North America.

Now in its 27th year, the annual list recognizes companies based on revenue growth from the previous three years. Piano grew 470% from 2017 to 2020. This is Piano’s third consecutive appearance on the Deloitte Technology Fast 500™, a testament to the company’s continued record growth.

“Piano’s outstanding growth over the last three years is really thanks to the dedication of our employees. The energy and commitment they bring to their roles every day has allowed us to build what we believe is a phenomenal product—and to better serve our clients around the world,” said Trevor Kaufman, CEO, Piano. “Being a part of Piano at this moment is something to be proud of. We won’t be taking our foot off the gas for the next three years, either.”

In the last three years, Piano has strengthened its client base to nearly 1,000 customers across six continents and expanded operations into the Asia-Pacific region. The company has also completed strategic acquisitions of Ukraine-based Newzmate, Norway-based Cxense and France-based analytics leader AT Internet, integrating these point solutions with its proprietary customer journey orchestration tool, Composer, to create a powerful end-to-end analytics and activation platform.

“The pandemic has underscored the urgent need for tech solutions in a variety of areas across health care, fintech, energy tech, entertainment, to name a few, so reliance on innovators like the winners of the Technology Fast 500 is more important than ever,” said Christie Simons, partner, Deloitte & Touche LLP and industry leader for technology, media and telecommunications within Deloitte’s audit & assurance practice. “These companies are not only at the cutting edge, transforming the way we do business, but most importantly, recognize the strategic importance of ongoing innovation, especially in the ever-changing world of technology.”

Since its inception, Piano has been consistently recognized for its rapid expansion and innovation. The company was also honored four times on the Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing companies, won a Grand Globee in the CEO World Awards and was named organization of the year in the Business Intelligence Group’s Sales and Marketing Awards, The Sammys.
